Medieval Belt Wallet
These belt wallets are made from vegetable tanned calf skins that have been dyed using period dyes and they are made entirely by hand. This design is based on a number of illistrations and is a common design in the 14th and 15th centuries. It measures 9 1/2 by 9 inches (23 x 20 cm) including the belt loops and is usualy held closed with a buckle and strap.

It is quite common to have a number of seperate compartments in this style of pouch. This version has three sections, the main bag has two pouchlets on the front held closed with their own drawstrings.

This version has four seperate sections. The main section has two pouchlets on the front held closed with their own drawstrings and there is a fourth section behind the main bag. The flont flap has bronze purse weights attached.
